Planning Board Meeting Minutes
September 16, 2008
1. Call to Order: The regular meeting was called to order at 7:02 PM.
2. Attendance: Members present were Chair - Stan Brett, Vice Chair - Dan Peaco, Recording Secretary - Mike
McAllister, Herb Olsen, Beth Damon & Karen Turino - Alternate (Absent - Dave McVety - Alternate).
Code Enforcement Officer: Richard St. John *Not in attendance.
Planning Board Secretary: Tanya Taft * Not in attendance.
3. Quorum: Board had a quorum.
4. Secretary’s Report:
Meeting Minutes from September 2, 2008. Motion to accept minutes. DP/HO – Unanimous.
5. Discussion & Comments from public:
A.None.
6. Residence - Based Business Applications:
A. None.
7. Shoreland Zoning Applications:
A. None.
8. Site Plan Applications:
A. None.
9. Subdivision Application:
A. Pleasant Lake Overlook, Represented by Tom DuBois, PE, Main Land Dev. Map R9, Lot 38, Major Subdivision (14) lots. Applicant looking for completed application. PB members went through Submissions checklist in Subdivision Ordinance under Major subdivision, Letter D. Page 12. All requirements were met, except for #24 (Trip Generation) the estimated volume for amount & type of vehicular traffic to be generated on a daily basis and at peak hours. Motion to wave #10 high intensity soil survey and allow applicant to use medium intensity soil survey in place of. DP/MM – Unanimous. Motion to waive the location of any trees larger then 24 “ in diameter. DP/MM – Unanimous. Applicant intends to drop off entire packet to Scott Williams for Peer Review. Applicant will bring additional requirements
to next meeting. Public Site Walk scheduled for October 7, 2008 @ 5:30PM.
10. Miscellaneous:
A. Update PB Manuals: *Tabled until a future meeting.
B. Certificate of Expansion fee: *Tabled until next meeting when CEO & TT are in attendance
C. Richard Bean Letter – Discussion: PB Members liked the format of the form. TT will bring to Richard Bean for his approval.
11. Upcoming Dates:
A. Planning Board Meeting October 7, 2008 @ 7:00 PM
B. Public Site Walk, October 7, 2008 @ 5:30PM – Pleasant Lake Overlook.
