7. Discussion & Comments:
Site-Walk was opened by SB. PB observed & discussed erosion issues that may occur. Erosion control plan is in place. Greatest Practical Extent was discussed and from viewing the site all agreed that structure must stay at current location. MDEP is aware of this project and their input is the structure should NOT go any closer to the Lake. Demolishing structure will take approx. 6 weeks. Route 121 traffic may need to go down to one lane traffic. Ken plans to eliminate driveway. Old structure is inside MDOT ROW by about 2.5’, new structure will be about 2 feet from the MDOT line. Structure may end up w/ a crawl space, rocks will dictate what end result will be. MDOT, ROW stakes were identified. This will be a Seasonal Structure w/ a seasonal septic system. First floor of house will
be 7” higher. Structure will be less non-conforming from both sides and rear than existing structure. An independent remote retaining wall may be implemented. Revegetation Plan not designed at this time, but will be with the approval of the CEO. Stone drip edges will be used for storm-water runoff. Overhead wires prevent construction from taking place on the Rt. 121 side. Testing was done to make sure Rt. 121 won’t be compromised. No further discussions.
8. Adjournment: 6:50 PM
Respectfully submitted,
Tanya Taft, Secretary.
