Meeting Minutes
October 11, 2012

1.CALL TO ORDER:
The meeting was called to order at 7:04 PM. Present were Joe Zilinsky - Chair, Stan Brett - Vice Chair, Nancy Lundquist, and Diana Olsen. Ms. Olsen is a new committee member and will serve a three year term.

2. SECRETARY’S REPORT:
Minutes for our last meeting on May 12, 2012 were not available and will be considered along with those for October 11, 2012 at our next meeting on November 8, 2012

3. OLD BUSINESS
No old business was carried over. We had cleared our docket.

4. NEW BUSINESS:
Chair of the Select Board Hall Ferguson provided us with background on the Board’s request to the Committee to draft proposed language for a municipal parking ordinance. Mr. Ferguson also shared copies of two model ordinances obtained from MMA. The Board wishes us to expedite the process. Thus, we plan to have a draft ordinance and draft supporting documents and forms ready for consideration at our next meeting
Once we have completed our recommended parking ordinance to the Select Board, we will begin consideration of a policy by which the Town Office Staff may handle requests involving freedom of information and public access to documents.

5. ADJOURNMENT:
With no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 7:45 PM.
