Present: Lee Dassler, Bob Blake, Pixie Williams

1. Minutes from 5.25.2011: Pixie will email changes to Susan to edit.
        1.“which runs in a NS direction bisecting the Henniger property”
        2. Blanket permission to use ATVs on the Henniger  trails “For families living nearby”
        3. Rick offered OCC opportunity to develop “Hiking trails”
        4. Gleotrichia.  Conducting research on it…and Pleasant Lake “May be” selected
        5. Otisfield  Town  Mtg: OCC “may” have a table
Lee moved to accept minutes as corrected. Passed

2. Henniger Park Postscript: N/S “Tote Road” on Henniger park. Pasture stone walled way will be open to ATV.  Signage  to define use alone, no barriers.

3. Acreage between Saturday Pond/Moose Pond: Jasper, Scott, Jacinthe, Bob hiked in on the old tote road and turned north towards Moose Pond- found about an acre of significant vernal pools. Lee proposed that OCC  to pursue the potential of the acreage to become a community forest with designated use areas- forest management and forever wild. Potentially proceeds from forestry practices to be designated for conservation purchases.    
Scott suggested on site that the boundaries need to be confirmed.

4. Gail Everett did complete butterfly survey of Jugtown, suggested we need to get a moth blitz next year. Jugtown Plains will be listed on statewide butterfly survey.

5. Pleasant lake, fisherman recently discovered variable  milfoil in Dollybrook Pool ( Seeds of Peace). Possibly from Otisfield  town dock or on planes from seeds of peace.  Seaplane  programs- drain pontoons.  

6. Gleotrichia (Looks like cooked rice) – Pleasant Lake will be surveyed for presence of Gleotrichia.  4 Lakes will be surveyed. Pleasant, Auburn, Range Pond.

7. Table at Town Meeting- Pixie will be there at 8am

8. Light trap volunteer search for Maine Forest Entomologist-

9. “Lawn, the Sahara of the North” Pixie will write and place on website.
