1. Call to Order: The WORKSHOP was called to order at 6:00 PM.
2. Attendance: Members present were: Chair- Janet Douglass, Vice Chair - Don Verrill, Recording Secretary - Sharon Matthews & Anne Pastore (Absent - Marianne Izzo-Morin & Alternate - Brendon Bedell).

3. Quorum: Board had a quorum.
4. Secretary’s Report:
A. Meeting Minutes from March 28, 2017. *Motion to accept minutes. JD/AP – Unanimous.
5. Discussion & Comments from Public:
A. None.
6. Administrative Appeal
A. None.
7. Appeal for a variance
A. None.
8. Discussion and comments from Board:
A. WORKSHOP - Board of Appeals Ordinance.
There is some verbiage that needs to be changed. The Attorney/ BOS wanted to see the BOA members concentrate on timelines and tighten up the Ordinance. AP made changes discussed at last meeting. Red type is verbiage that has been added and deleted verbiage has a strike through it. (See highlighted BOA Ordinance for changes made for Town Meeting - Submitted into Public Record) Discussion: All agree with changes provided. AP is going to provide copies of the Ordinance with changes made for Town Meeting so that public can see what changes were made. HF is going to run the changes by Town Attorney, Phyl Saucier.
B. BOA has a new Alternate member Brendon Bedell. Tonight he is at the AVCOG training. AP will provide Brendon’s email/ contact information to TT so he can be notified of any upcoming meetings. More members are still needed. We still have the need for (1) voting member and (1) Alternate position. AP will put something together for Town Meeting to look for volunteers.
