Organizational Meeting Minutes
November 30, 2006
1. Call to Order: The regular meeting was called to order at 7:00 PM.
2. Attendance: Members present were Chairman Ray Woodworth, Acting Chairman Don Verrill, Jim Bishop, and Marianne Izzo-Morin, Alternate.
3. Quorum: Board had a quorum.
4. Secretary’s Report.
A. None.
5. Discussions and comments from Public.
A. None.
6. Administrative Appeal
A. None.
7. Appeal for a variance.
A. None.
8. Discussion and comments from Board:
A. Election of officers: Chair, Don Verrill, Acting Chair, Jim Bishop and Recording Secretary, Marianne Izzo-Morin. Motion to accept all. JB/DV – Unanimous.
B. BOA member Mike Hooker resigned due to his heavy schedule as Fire Chief. BOA member Linda Lawler’s term expired in June and she did not re up her position. Currently an Add has been placed in the newspaper for volunteers. MIM has been moved up as a voting member.
C. Variance Application: BOA members would like to have something stating Escrow money may be required for professional services.
9. Miscellaneous:
A. “Boardmanship Workshop” Handouts were given to each BOA member to peruse at their convenience.
10. Upcoming Dates:
A. On an as needed basis with the exception of at least once a year to appoint officers.
11. Adjournment:
With no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 7:55 PM. DV/MIM – Unanimous.
