Public Hearing
There will be a meeting of the Zoning Board of Appeals in the first floor Skaket Meeting Room at Orleans Town Hall, on Wednesday, July 15, 2009, starting at 7:00 p.m. The following case will be heard and other business:
Case #1884 (Continued)
GRS Investments, LLC, has applied for a Special Permit as set forth in MGL Chapter 40A, Section 6, under Orleans Zoning Bylaw Section 164-3C(2) and 164-21A (Note 5) for alteration of a pre-existing, nonconforming use from motel to apartment, and exceeding 4,000 square feet of building coverage. The property is located at 223 Beach Road, Orleans Map #38, Parcel 16-6.
Case #1887
Previously scheduled, will not be heard on July 15, 2009. At the applicant's written request of July 1, on motion, seconded, and unanimously approved by the Board, the application for Case #1887 has been continued and will be heard on September 2, 2009. The hearing will be held in the first floor Skaket Meeting Room at Orleans Town Hall, starting at 7:00 p.m.

The Town of Orleans has applied for a Variance as set forth in MGL Chapter 40A, Section 10, under Orleans Zoning Bylaw Section 164-22 to locate a bus shelter nearer to the front lot line in violation of set back requirements. The property is located at 33 Main Street, Orleans Map #33, Parcel #65.
