There will be a meeting of the Zoning Board of Appeals in the first floor Skaket Meeting Room at Orleans Town Hall, on Wednesday, July 21, 2010, starting at 7:00 p.m. The following case will be heard:
Case #1913
Gary and Ethel Furst have applied for a Special Permit as set forth in MGL Chapter 40A, Section 9, under Orleans Zoning Bylaw Section 164-21A (Note 5) to construct an addition to a single-family home resulting in over 4,000 square feet of building coverage. The property is located at 27 Beach Plum Lane, Orleans Map # 23, Parcel #3.
In other business, the Board will vote to approve minutes of the July 7, 2010 meeting.
The Board will also consider a request for a substantiality ruling with respect to proposed changes in the Comprehensive Permit granted to Southside Realty Trust in Case #1894.
Lastly, based upon a review of the application fees in the Board's Rules and Practices, Chapter 197, Sec. 197-13A., the Board will hear public comment on the Board's proposal to raise the fees specified therein to $200.00, to cover administrative costs, and to require an additional amount to cover the costs incurred for postage in notifying abutters. Any written comments to be considered must be filed with the Board no later than 4:00 p.m. on July 21.
