Request to cutback invasive species on the coastal bank as they come up. This is an annual request. Request to remove three cedar trees along the western side of the house for more light. There are many trees there. Work will occur on and within 100 feet of the Top of a Coastal Bank.
David Patterson 44 Nichols Road
Top of coastal bank and buffer pruning. This is the same request as the last 5 years in regard to height of pruning and removal of bittersweet and invasive plants.
Shirley Mersereau 24 The Lane
Request to fill cesspools near the top of a coastal bank. A new system was put in around1982 but the cesspools were not filled.
Charles Holden 3 Longstreet Lane
Request to remove all the (T11) siding including the rotting plywood and replace with new plywood and cedar shingles, put in new windows doors and new exterior trim, replace the rotted entry stairs in the same footprint. This will require 2 new sono-tubes. Work is within LSCSF, Work by James Creonte.
John Ostman 106 Bakers Pond Road
Request to prune the branches of 4 oaks off the house, driveway, deck and chimney. The delineation on the 2004 site plan is not correct. Work is within 25’ to Baker’s Pond. Work by A to Z trees.
Steven and Susan Karp 21 Arey’s Lane
No engineered site plan was submitted with this request. No roof heights or other dimensions were submitted with this request. The roof has been removed from this building, the framing for the new roof is in place and the interior has been gutted. Request to renovate an existing cottage including changing the roof to a continuous gable roof of ? feet. The original roof was in two parts with the front section toward the coastal bank much lower at ? feet and the rear section the top of the shed roof was slightly higher than the proposed roof at ? feet. This is an increase in 2 resource areas, Land subject to Coastal Storm Flowage and the ACEC and within several feet to a freshwater wetland behind the building and closer than 25’ feet to a salt marsh and coastal bank in front of the building. This house would be below the coastal bank
because the bank would be extended to the flood level at 13. Even though it is not requested here the foundation of the building and the support structure may need more work. This work requires a variance.
