by East Cape Engineering, Inc. Assessor’s Map 23, Parcel 7. The proposed upgrading of the sewage disposal system, an addition to the dwelling and an attached garage. Work will occur within 100’ of the top of a coastal bank, a freshwater wetland and a salt marsh.

by Ryder and Wilcox, Inc. Assessor’s Map 5, Parcel 16. The proposed removal of an existing dwelling including abandonment of the septic system and construction of a new dwelling and septic system. Work will occur on and within the buffer to a coastal bank and a freshwater wetland.

COC request for an Order for renovations was amended for a septic upgrade and conditioned on a Planting Plan. This project was held to allow large mulched areas to be planted. These areas have been planted. A major effort was made to remove invasive species and replant with natives on this site.

COC request for an Order that was filed at our request for vegetation cutting. The plantings look healthy and stable.

Ed and Lisa Guariglia 9 Herringbrook Road
Request to replace a worn wooden walkway with dry laid brick. The walkway would be reduced by 32 sq. ft. Request to add a small brick area as a cook station of 72 sq. ft next to the path. This would be a total addition of pervious covered area of 35 sq. ft. As mitigation they request to remove 1,500 sq ft of English Ivy in the buffer. Work is within the 50’ buffer to a coastal bank

Request to flush cut 1 pine tree in the view easement. Work is within the 100’ buffer to the coastal bank.
Steve Burns 561 South Orleans Road
Request to leave a flag installed on a dead limbed cedar. Request to leave a removable wooden dock (3’ wide & 12’ long) at the edge of the pond for a child that cannot go in the water. Approval of this AR would not grant approval of a permanent dock at this site. An Order would have to be issued approving this dock to make it permanent.

Request to remove 2 broken tree limbs hanging over the stairs to Crystal Lake. Work is within 100’ to Crystal Lake. Work by A to Z treez.
John Harrington 25 Skymeadow Drive
Request to remove 4 oak trees and 1 pine and to prune 8 other trees. There are 10 trees tagged in Pink to prune and 9 trees tagged in Orange to remove in the buffer. 12 other trees are tagged in orange to remove outside the buffer. Work by A to Z treez. Work is within 100’ to a freshwater wetland or a coastal bank.
William Benjamin 184 Quanset Road
Request to remove 2 dead trees northeast of the house in a heavily vegetated area. One of these trees has only a short trunk left. The other is a large dead locust.tree. Request to remove 10 trees to the south of the house. All of these trees are large and healthy. Some are pitch pines and some are oaks. This is a heavily vegetated area and the cutting would substantially reduce the canopy in that area. The request is for a view. It would over look a small freshwater wetland.
John Stix 175 Namequoit Road
Request to repair the stairs to the beach damaged in the winter storm. 4 new supports would be added to the stairs. One pair would be set in sono-tubes at the base of the hill to replace cinder blocks. The other pair would be set on pressure treated wood laid on the beach that has been stabilized by steel rods driven into the sand. Work by Michael Chiampa.
