AGENDA
5:30 p.m. 1. Call to order
- Meet with Orleans Elementary School Committee and Town Counsel Michael Ford to review legal process that would have to be followed to permit a possible group home for autistic adults (Cape Cod Village) to be built on property under the jurisdiction of the School Committee should it be declared surplus
- Meet with Planning Director George Meservey to review site plan presented to the School Committee in 2002 to build affordable housing on the same 3.5-acre site
- Preliminary analysis of the conditions (i.e., buildable upland, wetlands, and easement requirements for ingress/egress out to Rt. 6A)
- Review of general zoning requirements to develop the site
- Discuss potential alternative uses for the 3.5 acre site should the School Committee make the determination that it is no longer needed for school purposes
- Discuss next steps and possible timeframe for final decision
- Adjourn
