Wastewater Discussion- Work Meeting
Follow up information from the September 11, 2013 meeting: Updated list of prioritized action items and timelines:
Cedar Pond management next steps- develop scope, timeline and cost estimates
Staff meeting with CCC for technical assistance to address DRI Conditions based on CWMP Core Plan (640,000 gallons per day on average) reuse of Tri-Town property
- Namskaket Marsh clay layer study
- Evaluation of freshwater influx into Namskaket Marsh
Rock Harbor proposed re-designation to SA (Boat Basin)
- Review draft scope and timeline from A. Gottlieb following confirmation of Eastham BOS vote to proceed
Potential decentralized & cluster treatment and disposal sites showing added details since 2007 (property designation, restrictions, ACEC, etc.)
Water quality monitoring effort- identify resources needed to continue sampling and cost if future sampling needed to maintain database has to be procured privately
Discuss additional list of proposed action items from John Hodgson
Consider calling a special town meeting and election for wastewater funding based on priority actions list
Discuss role of BOW&SC in wastewater planning and implementation- review preliminary list of draft wastewater policies and issues
Prepare for Tri-Town BOS meeting with Eastham and Brewster at end of October
- Decommissioning Plan- Stantec report on next steps, time lines and costs due on 10/18
Identify agenda items/topics for next work meeting on November 13, 2013
