Building Code Appeals Board
Public Hearing
There will be a meeting of the Building Code Appeals Board in the first floor Namequoit meeting room at Orleans Town Hall, on Thursday, August 7, 2014, starting at 4:00 p.m. The following case will be heard:
Mary Jo and Chris Gaskill have applied for a variance to the Massachusetts Building Code 8th Edition, under the adopted 2009 International Residential Building Code (IRBC) Section R310 regarding emergency escape and rescue openings. Section R310.1 requires that emergency escape and rescue openings open directly into a public way, or to a yard or court that opens to a public way. The property is located at 20 Cole Place, Orleans Map #36, Parcel #4.
