Minutes
Call to Order was made by Chair Diane Aldi at 7:00 p.m.
Present: Chair Diane Aldi, Priscilla Funck, Betsy Owen, Mary Ann Iadarola, Mary Kennedy, Jay Termine
Absent: Sharon Craft and Don Mill
Also present: Sharon Tiezzi, Recording Clerk
Audience of Citizens – Tina Belmont, VNA/SC Old Saybrook Town Nurse, who presented who report on her activities for the month of September. She presented a new program being started by local health businesses. They would put together a presentation of their health related business and she would tack on her services related to their presentation. The program is expected to start in January. She asked the Board for their approval to take on this new program. The Board had a discussion.
Review and Approval of Minutes – A motion was made by Mary Kennedy and seconded by Mary Ann Iadarola to approve the minutes of the September 14, 2017 meeting.
Motion carried unanimously.
Review and Approval of Treasurer’s Report – tabled till November’s meeting. Jay did report that the CD was due to mature and researched other banks for better rates. Jay talked to Town Treasurer Bob Fish and he said Liberty Bank has a good rate. Jay closed the CD and switch it to a Liberty Bank Money Market account for 1.5% till December 2018.

Old Business – Mary Ann Iadarola presented her report from the OSY & F meeting on October 3, 2017.
New Business – next meeting November 9, 2017.
Flanagan Fund – see Treasurer’s report regarding the CD.
Nightingale Fund – Chair Diane will check with Jessica Davis regarding having her picture taken to include in the fundraising letter.
Morris Fund – no report
Adjournment – motion made and seconded to adjourn at 8:00 p.m.
