Meeting Minutes
Present: Diane Aldi DePaola, Sharon Craft, Mary Kennedy, Betsy Owen, Joseph Termine, Priscilla Funck, and Don Mill
Also present: Sharon Tiezzi, Recording Clerk and Tina Belmont from VNASC
CALL TO ORDER: Chair Diane called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.
AUDIENCE OF CITIZENS – The Nursing activities offered by the VNASC for the month of February was presented by Tina Belmont.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES - A motion to approve the minutes of the February 11, 2015 meeting was made by Sharon Craft and seconded by Mary Kennedy.
Ayes 6, Nays 0, Abstentions 1; Motion carried.
APPROVAL OF TREASURER’S REPORT – was tabled for next meeting
CORRESPONDENCE – thank you note from Keanna Chang for her scholarship
OLD BUSINESS –
NEW BUSINESS – next meeting April 14, 2016
FLANAGAN FUND – Chair Diane received phone from Adam Stillman who has completed his nursing schooling, has passed his boards and is putting his resume out.
NIGHTINGALE FUND – letter is being copied and will be ready to go to Pages for processing.
We have received $400.00 in checks.
MORRIS FUND – Chair Diane received call from Sue Consoli to inform her that they have depleted the dental fund. Diane asked to write up her report, Diane will present to the board and will discuss what is available. Chair Diane wrote a letter to the Lions Club.
There was a brief discussion on changing the use of this fund. Members were asked to think about how you would word the use of the funds for the next meeting.
ADJOURNMENT- A motion was made by Mary Kennedy to adjourn the meeting @8:00 p.m., seconded by Betsy Owen.
Ayes 7, Nays 0, Abstentions 0. Motion carried.
