OLD LYME ZONING COMMISSION
SPECIAL MEETING
Monday – June 6, 2011, 6:00 P.M.
Mezzanine Conference Room, Town Hall
52 Lyme Street, Old Lyme, CT
I. Convene Meeting; announcement of Zoning Commission voting members: Jane Cable, Pat Looney, Tom Risom, Jane Marsh, and John Johnson, alternates Ted Kiritsis and Joan Bozek (arrived at 6:20 p.m.) The meeting started at 6:00 p.m.
Guests present and invited into Executive Session: Attorney Thomas Gerarde of Howd & Ludorf, LLC the attorney hired by CIRMA, Ann Brown, Zoning Enforcement Officer, First Selectman Tim Griswold and Skip Sibley, Selectman.
II. Chairman Cable asked for a motion to go into Executive Session to discuss litigation involving a pending civil action in the U.S. District Court, Anderson v. Town of Old Lyme, 3:10cv1876 (MRK), regarding the seasonal dwelling registry, Section 11.19A of the Zoning Regulations. The Zoning Commission will be inviting the Board of Selectmen to attend the executive session, as both bodies and their members are named as defendants. Counsel for the boards will also be in attendance, as well as the Zoning Enforcement Officer, Ann Brown.
The Chairman then invited the attendees noted above to be a part of the Executive Session.
The following motion was made to go into Executive Session at 6:05 p.m.:
A Motion was made by John Johnson, seconded by Pat Looney, to go into Executive Session at 6:05 p.m. and to allow those seated at the table and previously noted above to be included in the Executive Session. A vote was taken: In favor: Cable, Marsh, Johnson, Looney and Risom. In Opposition: None Abstaining: None. The Motion passed unanimously.
The Zoning Commission members and those invited to attend went into Executive Session at 6:05 p.m.
The following vote was taken to come out of Executive Session at 7:19 p.m.:
A Motion was made by John Johnson, seconded by Pat Looney, to leave the Executive Session at 7:19 p.m. A vote was taken: In favor: Cable, Marsh, Johnson, Looney and Risom. In Opposition: None Abstaining: None. The Motion passed unanimously. Those present came out of Executive Session.

III. Chairman Cable stated that during the Executive Session those present made no decisions, took no votes, and no action was taken.
IV. Adjournment
A Motion was made by Pat Looney, seconded by Jane Cable, to adjourn the June 6, 2011 Special Meeting. No discussion; and a vote was taken. In favor: Cable, Marsh, Johnson, Looney and Risom. Opposed: None. Abstaining: None. The motion passed unanimously and the meeting adjourned at 7:20 p.m.
