SPECIAL MEETING
Monday – June 26, 2017, 7:30 P.M.
Meeting Hall at Memorial Town Hall

1. Convene Meeting; announcement of voting members. Meeting convened at 7:33 p.m.
Present and voting: Jane Cable, Chair, Alan Todd, G. Soucie and Paul Orzel
Also present: Keith Rosenfeld, Land Use Coordinator
Absent: Jane Marsh, Secretary, Stacey Winchell, alternate
SPECIAL MEETING:
1. Discussion and decision regarding property at 49 Hillcrest Road. Said property obtained a Special Permit to allow expansion of an existing dwelling on an undersized R-10 lot but then the structure was completely torn down and the applicants want to discuss which course of action should be taken.
A Motion was made by G. Soucie, seconded by P. Orzel wherein the Old Lyme Zoning Commission made a finding that the nonconforming building on a nonconforming lot located at 49 Hillcrest Road was damaged by a casualty outside the control of the owner and such building may be restored to the extent that such building existed at the time of the casualty, provided that such restoration is completed within one year from the date of said finding, June 26, 2017. No further discussion and a vote was taken. In favor: J. Cable, G Soucie, A. Todd, P. Orzel In opposition: None Abstaining: None The Motion unanimously carried 4-0-0.
2. Discussion regarding Aquifer Protection Regulations – No motion made
3. Adjournment
A Motion to adjourn was made by G. Soucie, seconded by P. Orzel. No discussion and a vote was taken. In favor: J. Cable, G Soucie, A. Todd, P. Orzel In opposition: None Abstaining: None The Motion carried 4-0-0 The meeting adjourned at 8:00 p.m.
