Shoreline Community Center 7.30 pm

Present: Frank Pappalardo (Chair), Michaelle Pearson (Secretary), David Kelsey, Joann Reis Lishing Russ Carlo (Alternate), Sandra Ziemba (Alternate).
Absent: Frank Maratta (Alternate) Harry Plaut
Also present: Selectwoman Mary Jo Nosal

7.32p Call to Order: Meeting called to order by Chairman Frank Pappalardo. Russ Carlo seated for Harry Plaut.
7.33 Approval of October Minutes: Joann Lishing moved to approve October minutes. David Kelsey Seconded. Minutes approved. Change HP at end to Russ Carlo. Minutes apprioved as xchanged.

7.41pm: Sound View Park Project Progress Report:
Town Meeting Tentatively Scheduled for  Tues, Dec 10th. Informational meeting 12/4.
Mr. Kelsey asked if this would be the only item on the agenda. First Selectwoman Reemsnyder responded that there would also be another item, to accept the donation of a section of the parking lot that had been owned by the Sound View Development Corp.

8.06: Mr. Pappalardo said that on 11/26, he will present the proposal to the Inland Wetlands Commission, as there was a question of whether area is under their jurisdiction. It is actually outside the 100 foot radius, but we are making a presentation to inland wetlands to state that we don’t believe there are any regulatory issues.

8.09: Budget Items review

8.32: Hartford Avenue Buildings Update.  Closings took place a  week ago Friday. Frank Noe, Bill Randazzo and Gail Fuller are the new owners. Sometime in December we will invite them to an informal meeting to discuss their future plans for those properties.

8.35: 2014 Meeting Dates: 4th Monday, except may. Will be 5/27 (tues) and no meeting in dec.
Joann moved to accept meeting dates astated. Russ Carlo seconded. Motion passed. Also January. Will meet on ues 28th.

Other business: Ms. Pearson noted that the beach sign at Swan Avenue had not yet been removed for the winter. Also, a broken bus sign on the corner of Portland Avenue.
Russ Carlo stated that the temporary signs in front of the Bestway on Swan Avenue  have multiplied. These signs are in violation of zoning. These signs, and also the large sign on the church lawn have created a sightline issue on Swan Avenue. First Selectwoman Reemsnyder said she would look into the sightlines issue with Public Works.
