BOARD OF SELECTMEN

The Board of Selectmen held a Regular Meeting at 4:00 pm on April 15, 2019 in the Meeting Hall of the Old Lyme Memorial Town Hall. First Selectman Bonnie Reemsnyder, Selectwoman Mary Jo Nosal and Selectman Chris Kerr were present.

  • Approval of Minutes:
1 April 2019 -Regular Meeting Minutes
A motion was made by Selectwoman Nosal, seconded by Selectman Kerr, to approve the April 1, 2019 Regular meeting minutes. Motion passed.
1 April 2019 -Special Meeting Minutes
A motion was made by Selectman Kerr, seconded by Selectwoman Nosal, to approve the April 1, 2019 Special meeting minutes. Motion passed.

  • Communication:  None
  • Appointments:
Peter Hunt (D) – Board of Assessment Appeals, alternate – 2 yr. term exp. Jan. 2020
A motion was made by Selectwoman Nosal, seconded by Selectman Kerr, to appoint Peter Hunt to the Board of Assessment appeals. Motion passed.
Baylee Drown (U) – Regional Agricultural Council – 6 yr. term exp. Jan. 2025
A motion was made by Selectman Kerr, seconded by Selectwoman Nosal, to appoint Baylee Drown to the Regional Agricultural Council. Motion passed.
        James Birge (U) – WPCA, alternate – 4 yr. term exp. Jan. 2021
A motion was made by Selectwoman Nosal, seconded by Selectman Kerr, to appoint James Birge to the WPCA  as an alternate. Motion passed.

  • Haulers Registration Form
A motion was made by Selectwoman Nosal, seconded by Selectman Kerr, to approve the draft registration form. Motion passed.
A motion was made by Selectwoman Nosal, seconded by Selectman Kerr, to set a $0. fee for hauler registrations. Motion passed.

  • Discussion on Town Owned Property
  • Neighborhood Assistance Act – applicants
A motion was made by Selectwoman Nosal, seconded by Selectman Kerr, schedule the public hearing for May 20th at 3:30pm. Motion passed.
