BOARD OF SELECTMEN
SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES
The Board of Selectmen held a Special Meeting at 7:00 pm on April 1, 2019 in the Meeting Hall of the Old Lyme Memorial Town Hall. First Selectman Bonnie Reemsnyder, Selectwoman Mary Jo Nosal and Selectman Chris Kerr were present.
The meeting was called to order by First Selectman Bonnie Reemsnyder.
1. Executive Session: For purposes of discussion of an agreement concerning the sale, lease or purchase of real estate, and to invite in attendance one or two members of the open space commission and the Town Attorney
2. Discussion of Proposed Pump Station Lease Agreement
First Selectman Reemsnyder distributed the latest version of the Proposed Pump Station Lease Agreement, which had been sent to the Town Attorney for revisions based on discussions at our special meeting with the Beach Association representatives on June 16, 2018. The revisions have been reviewed by First Selectman Reemsnyder and the Chair of the WPCA, Rich Prendergast. The revised agreement was sent to the Beach Association representatives for their input, with the hopes that everything adequately reflects the discussion. Bonnie reviewed the edits with the Selectmen to allow for further discussion. There was discussion about the need for a public hearing prior to going to a town meeting, and the Selectmen agreed that having the hearing at least several days prior to the scheduled town meeting is preferred.
Selectwoman Nosal made a motion to adjourn at 4:35 PM, second by Selectman Kerr. So voted.
