OLD LYME INLAND WETLANDS AND WATERCOURSES COMMISSION
SPECIAL MEETING/SITE WALK
SATURDAY, MARCH 23, 2013
Present were: Skip DiCamillo, Dave McCulloch, Evan Griswold, Janet Bechtel
1. Call to Order at 8:30 AM
- 8:30 - Dennis Hallahan – members viewed the locations of the existing propane tank behind the stone wall. Hallahan was informed he did not need to attend the meeting on Tuesday. No questions of the applicant.
- 8:50 - 59 Sea Spray – meet with Bob Doane and builder and reviewed the site plan. Noted wetland markers along the brook. Dave McCulloch had questions regarding amount of fill that will be required. Flood plain filling requires compensatory digging for storage of storm water. To be discussed at Tuesday’s meeting.
- 9:15 - Old Lyme Land Trust – met with Mike Kiernan and walked the right of way off of Four Mile River road into the top of the ridge. Right of way area clearly marked and wetlands done the slope were visible. Reviewed drawings of the proposed switch-back pathways, 12 step stairway and landing down the slope and foot bridge across wetland/stream. No additional questions of the applicant. Mike Kiernan told he did not need to attend Tuesday night’s meeting.
