OLD LYME INLAND WETLANDS AND WATERCOURSES COMMISSION
SPECIAL MEETING/SITE WALK
SATURDAY, DECEMBER 8, 2012
        

1.      Call to order at 107 Boston Post Road at 8:30 a.m. Present were members Janet Bechtel, David McCulloch, and Louis DiCamillo, enforcement officer Ann Brown.  

2.      8:30 a.m. – 12-20 Constance M. Ayars – 107 Boston Post  Road – Removal of
 vegetation within an existing Inland Wetland area to create a wet bottom pool. Michael Harkin and Richard Snarski described proposed activities to the commission.  A 10-15 foot natural buffer area and a planting plan will be added to the survey along the shore line of the pond.  Commission members determined that a public hearing will not be necessary for this application.

3.      9:00 a.m. – 12-21 Robert and Toni Judge – 27 & 31 Rogers Lake Trail –
Demolition of a non-conforming house at 31 Rogers Lake Trail.  Combining the
two lots land and construction of an addition to the house at 27 Rogers Lake Trail, and installation of a new septic system.  Michael Harkin described the proposal, indicating the location of the addition, the new septic system and the limits of disturbance.  

4.      9:30 a.m – 12-22 – CPD Energy – 85 Halls Road – Renovation of existing
gasoline/filling station/convenience store and minor reconfiguration of parking
lot.  The only improvements within the 100’ wetlands setback area is the new septic system.  The commission determined that the permit should be issued by the enforcement officer as an administrative permit.  

6.      Adjournment:  The meeting was adjourned at 9:35 a.m.
