OLD LYME INLAND WETLANDS AND WATERCOURSES COMMISSION
SPECIAL MEETING/SITE WALK
MONDAY, JULY 9, 2012 at 5:30 P.M.
PRESENT WERE: David McCulloch, Robb Linde, Evan Griswold and Janet Bechtel.
5:30 – Questa Builders, Inc. – BGP Developers, LLC – 5-1 Davis Road.To construct a driveway within 100 ft. review area to a proposed single family residence.
The commission members walked along the existing woods road to see where the proposed paved driveway, carriage house and house will be constructed.
6:00 – Town of Old Lyme/Conservation Commission – 166 Boston Post Road.
Request to landscape/buffer installation and Fred Holth Memorial Bench.
The Commission suggested that the buffer planting area should be approximately 10’ wide. It is expected that it will extend roughly 50’ along the shore of the lake. All excavated materials will be removed from the site as they are dug up.
6:15 - Old Lyme Rowing Association- Installation of security fence and tree removal.
As designed, the proposed fence will not be within 100’ of the lake edge. A request for finding of no jurisdiction will be submitted for the next meeting.
