The commission walked the site and observed that many trees were removed and that small brush was also cleared to the ground. We communicated to the owner that we would need a specific plan for restoration. In addition we suggested that we were in favor of allowing the space to return to its natural state. We did however, suggest that the steep slope between the driveway and the wetland could be stabilized with hay to within about 15 feet of the driveway and 20 feet of the wetlands.
The applicant was asked to bring a plan.
