SPECIAL MEETING
THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 12, 2009
PRESENT WERE: Janet Bechtel, Evan Griswold, Sabine O’Donnell, Dave McCulloch, and Skip DiCamillo.
09-29 Philip Salafia – 44 Flagler Avenue – Enclose existing porch and patio, extend existing dormers.
Janet Bechtel noted that the commission walked the site on November 7, 2009. Griswold reported that the characteristics of the brook have changed over the years. Therefore, he didn’t feel any of the proposed work would have a negative impact on the watercourse.
Sabine O’Donnell asked if the commission had thought about requesting any drainage requirements to handle the additional roof runoff. The commission agreed to require the applicant to capture any of the additional runoff in a drywell.
Evan Griswold made a motion to allow the application to be handled administratively and requested that staff notify the applicant that the additional roof runoff must be captured by a dry well. Janet Bechtel seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously.
