INLAND WETALNDS AND WATERCOURSES COMMISSION
SITE WALK MEETING
WEDNESDAY, JULY 2, 2014
PRESENT WERE: Skip DiCamillo, Stanley Kolber, Janet Bechtel, Christian Tompkins, Mike Moran, and Tim Rollins.
1. 14-12 David Evers – 15 Osceola Trail – Tear down bath house and replace with storage area.
The commission walked the site. Mr. Evers proposal is to tear down an old building and convert the unusable space to useable space. The footprint will remain the same and the foundation will not be disturbed. A new floor will be poured and the building will be dropped down to eliminating the crawl space and the pitch of the roof will be lowered. The proposed work will not require heavy equipment and the concrete will be brought in by a wheel barrow. The applicant does not need to attend the next IWWC meeting.
2. 14-14 – Robert & Toni Judge – 27 & 31 Rogers Lake Trail – Modifications to existing permit for a
proposed outside generator and new exterior deck dimensions.
The commission visited the site and noted the ongoing repair of the retaining wall had been approved by a previous permit. The current permit is for a 3 x 4 generator pad and the previously approved deck is being enlarged. The dimensions of the enlarged deck were discussed and pointed out. There was discussion that the new propane tank may be buried and it was noted that the landscaping and other items as outlined in the original permit remain the same.
3. 14-16 – Mary Elizabeth Chadwick -31 Library Lane – Replacing damaged existing drain pipe
beneath “right of way”.
The commission walked the site and discussed the limits of the wetlands and the extent of the
proposed work. The commission requested a more detailed plan, a construction sequence and that the contractor attend the next IWWC meeting.
