PRESENT:  Jeri Baker, Gary Weed, Doris Hungerford, Sue Campbell, Dot McAndrew, Joni Bonvicin, Kathy Lockwood,  Johnny Cody, Jacqueline Roberts

ABSENT:  Don Abraham, Diana Seckla, Stephanie Lyon-Gould, Doris Johnson

CALL TO ORDER/PLEDGE:  Jeri Baker at 1:00

MINUTES OF MARCH 18, 2019 MEETING:   
Corrections to the minutes of March:  Add Jacqueline Roberts to Members Present.

TREASURER’S REPORT -   Doris Hungerford -  
A motion to accept March 18, 2019 Minutes with correction and the Treasurer’s Report was called for by Gary Weed. Sue Campbell seconded.  Unanimous approval.

COMMITTEE REPORTS:  

Director’s Notes:  Stephanie Lyon-Gould (Read by Jeri Baker)- March attendance total -2161.  

Building Use:  Gary Weed -  Still waiting for the three doors which need to be replaced.  The fire extinguishers are ok.  The fire system in the kitchen was tested and is ok.  Reset the timers on the exterior lighting.

New Programs:
Low Impact Dance Fitness Program started in April (Friday, April 5th at 10:30) drop in class $5.00/class
30/30 Cardio Fusion/Stretch and Balance Class starting Thursday, May 2nd at 5:00 pm 5 Weeks Sessions - $30.00 a session.
Chinese Brush Painting - 2 Week Workshop ($15.00) Friday, June 7th and 21st from 1-3pm.  (Pre sign up required)
Day Academy will be starting a free 3 month American History Course held the first Friday of the month running September-November at 1:00 pm

OLD BUSINESS:
        
        Memorial Garden Update - list pending:   Jeri Baker for Stephanie Lyon Gould  - The list will need to be finalized by May 1st.  Current list:  Barbara Traskos, Rose M. Gronback, Eleanor O’Connel, Millie Jackson, Florence Hurley, Ruth Breitzke, Beatrice Minson, Charles Gerber.  The dedication ceremony is scheduled for Wednesday, June 12th 1:00.  

        Center Renovation Update, Jeri Baker - One next step will be forming a Building Committee.      
        
Reminder of Officer Nominations:  Nominations for board positions will be accepted in May.  Election of officers will take place at the June meeting.

ADJOURN:  Meeting adjourned at 1:22.   Gary Weed put forth the motion and Sue Campbell seconded.  Unanimous approval.
