OLD LYME PLANNING COMMISSION
SPECIAL MEETING - PUBLIC HEARING
DECEMBER 28, 2010
PRESENT WERE: Harold Thompson, Robert McCarthy, Chris Kerr and Steven Ross.
ADOPTION OF THE 2010 PLAN OF CONSERVATION & DEVELOPMENT
Chairman Thompson opened the meeting and stated the commission had received copies of the Plan of Conservation & Development which incorporated the comments received and approved from the Connecticut River Estuary Regional Planning Agency.
Ross clarified the document in front of the commission is the draft that the commission had submitted for public hearing. Thompson stated that was correct but noted that athe draft did not include the changes from the Regional Planning Agency. Ross noted at the last meeting the commission made a motion to incorporate the changes that are in marked in this document (some of the changes are indicated as having already been done in the previous document and others based on a motion will be added to the final draft). Thompson stated that was correct.
Ross made a motion to close the public hearing. Robert McCarthy seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously.
Ross made a motion to approve the drafted Plan of Conservation and Development incorporating the changes outlined in the motion at the last regular meeting. Robert McCarthy seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously.
Thompson thanked everyone for their input and assistance in the rewrite of the 2010 Plan of Conservation and Development.
Respectfully submitted,
Kim Groves
