Don reported positive things had taken place at the HS gym in response to his letter.   Walls painted, cracks/holes filled in, banners have been hung differently which helps and there is talk about refinishing the floor.

Budget almost finished.  He will go over it in a meeting with Tim Griswold.

Town Woods:  Completed calculations of all expenses for Phase I and building.  Town Woods Building meeting to wrap this up in a couple of weeks.  Coming in under budget. Discussed purchase of 6 ground covers which when put over the play area grass, promotes quicker growth of the grass in that area.   Discussed applications being submitted for STEAP grant and/or bonds by both towns.  Also discussed storage of equipment.

Lyme Park and Rec:  contact with the chairman of the Lyme Park and Rec has proven to be unattainable.  Calls have been made and messages left, however, there is no response.  Glynn talked with a member of the Lyme Commission, Peggy Feeney, who although thinks, having occasional meetings together would be a good idea, feels that it is not going to happen for various reasons.   Discussion followed and Old Lyme members feel this being a joint venture, they will continue to try occasionally to get together with the Lyme members.

Meeting adjourned at 8:15 pm.

Respectfully submitted,

Doris Johnson, Secretary
