Present: Robert Dunn (Chairman), Glynn McAraw, John Flower, Tim Gavin, Nigel Logan, Missy Garvin, Don Bugbee (Director) and Doris Johnson (Clerk)

1. Call to Order
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 PM by Chairman R. Dunn.
2. Approval of March 6, 2014 Minutes
G. McAraw moved to approve the minutes of March 6, 2014. J. Flower seconded the motion. SO VOTED.
G. McAraw moved to include in the agenda a discussion of our guest J. Zrendra proposal to use Cross Lane baseball fields and/or Town Woods Park baseball fields for his War at the Shore baseball tournament to this point in the agenda. T. Gavin seconded the motion. SO VOTED.
3. War at the Shore baseball tournament proposal
J. Zrenda previously addressed the Commission about this proposal at the February Commission meeting. He had requested to use preferably the Cross Lane fields May 24, 25,26; July 19, 20; August 2,3. The Commission suggested he meet with the Lyme/Old Lyme Little League (LOLLL) representatives about issues (mainly trash) that occurred during a previous tournament sponsored by Mr. Zrendra, as well as availability based on the LL schedule. He then met with the LOLLL representatives. He stated that the LOLLL representatives did not want to allow this tournament to take place at Cross Lane, even though Mr. Zrendra offered to pay $300 per day to use the fields and to remove all the trash each day.
The consensus of the Commission was to have D. Bugbee contact the LOLLL president to discuss their concerns and also to obtain their schedule. The Commission would then decide whether to allow use of fields for this tournament.
4. Spring Program Update
D. Bugbee will present this at the next meeting, since he had just returned from an extended vacation just before the meeting.

6. Town Woods Park Consultant, RFP
The Commission reviewed and revised the latest version of the RFP that Bonnie Reemsnyder e-mailed to R. Dunn on April 2, 2014.

G. McAraw moved and M. Garvin seconded to adjourn the meeting at 9:30 PM. SO VOTED.
