5. New Business
Todd Machnik brought to the Board’s attention the flooding in the open space north side of I-95 intersection of Whippoorwill Road west side. The beavers have jammed up the Town culvert causing the flooding. Don Willis said that it is impacting a citizen’s (Jason Beebe) property at this point. Most of the area belongs to the Old Lyme Land Trust. There was a discussion. Todd will speak to Bonnie Reemsnyder about it.
Todd Machnik reported that the Board needs to submit a summary of the FEC Board for the Town Report by October 19. Steve Ross volunteered to draft up something and have Todd review it.
The Board reviewed the member list that came from the Town today. It was noted that the email address at Town Hall to send minutes and agendas to is minutes@oldlyme-ct.gov instead of sending to the Town Clerk and to the Selectmen’s Office. Meeting schedules must be submitted by November 30. Mary Ellen Garbarino will take care of this.
