ZONING COMMISSION MEETING

I.      CALL TO ORDER

Chairman Fish called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m.

III.    MINUTES

        The Commission reviewed the meeting minutes of May 1, 2006.

MOTION to approve the 5/1/06 minutes. MOTION by M. Fish; SECONDED by W. Harris VOTING IN FAVOR: M. Fish, W. Harris, K. Edgar; AGAINST: none; ABSTAINING: R. Friedmann, P.Stuart; APPROVED 3-0-2.

Charlie Sohl arrived at the meeting.

IV.     CORRESPONDENCE

MOTION to approve payment of invoices #123093, #12314,  and #12321 from Branse & Willis LLC for a total of $1,769.00; MADE by Walter Harris; SECONDED by P.Stuart; VOTING IN FAVOR: M. Fish, R. Friedmann, P. Stuart, W. Harris, K. Edgar; AGAINST: none; ABSTAINING: none; APPROVED 5-0-0.






V.      PUBLIC HEARING:

          A.   SPECIAL EXCEPTION USE APPLICATION

              Applicant:  Kathleen A. Benjdid (6/19/06)

Kathleen Benjdid discussed the addition of Moroccan food to the convenience store use. Mrs. Benjdid informed the Commission that she no longer was proposing to add  a 10’ x 10’ addition to the building on the west side and to exclude that from the review.  The Commission discussed parking, safety of outdoor diners and location of the patio for outdoor seating.  The Board informed
