OS Social Services Kicks Off New Program to Help Residents (who meet eligibility) with Furnace and/or Chimney Cleaning Costs
This winter we are happy to announce a furnace cleaning and chimney cleaning program for Old Saybrook residents. This is part of our focus on prevention of furnace operating problems and fire prevention.
Eligibility is based on income guidelines for Energy Assistance.
If your furnace or chimney has not been cleaned in the past 12 months and you meet income guidelines don't hesitate to apply.
Please note: You must own your home to apply for this program, or if renting provide a copy of your lease that states that the tenant is responsible for this maintenance and obtain landlord written permission to perform work required by a vendor.
