VI. Director’s Report
|
Director Heather McNeil reported on a hookah lounge proposal and talks with zoning for future business proposals. She reported on the Budget proposal to the BOF with an increase to personnel and step increases budget approved. Staffing – Chelsea Graham, LCSW has moved to the FT position and Jackie Boudinot, MFT, NCC has been hired for a 25.5 clinical position. 6 interns will complete their master’s level training at OSYFS 2015-16. Grants for YAC Middlesex United Way were discussed. Student Survey will be presented to the BOE on May 5, 2015 at 7 p.m. Community Conversation will meet on May 18, 2015 at 6:30 p.m. at Goodwin to discuss
substance abuse in teens. The Community Variety Show – 5/8/2015. YAC has invited 8th Grades now each weekend 6/5/15 BBQ; it now has 68 members; and they will be at Wellness Day. Summer Programming is light for counseling groups. Interviews have been taking place for the leaving student commission members. |

Director Heather invited all commission members to attend the Survey Results to be presented to the BOE on May 5th at 7:30 p.m. at Goodwin School.. Student replacements; OSYFS Scholarships and Awards Night.
