Town Planner Christine Nelson reviewed the proposed resubdivison. The Board of Selectmen will draft a response to the Planning Commission. C. Discuss and act on Accounting Department Office
structure. Sharon Migliaccio, Accounting Supervisor reviewed the changes that have taken place in the Accounting office. She requests that the remaining 32 hour employee’s position be increased to 40 hours, with benefits. The union has no objection. Discuss and act on application to support WPCA initiative for grant proposal. Steve Luckett, WPCA Coordinator reviewed a state program through the Small Cities Grant program that would assist homeowner who will have to upgrade their septic systems. It is based
on income levels and is an interest free loan that gets paid back when the property is sold or otherwise changes hands. The funds then come back to Old Saybrook where they can be reused. Applications would be coordinated with Social Services. During the discussion First Selectman Pace was needed in the office. PACE/PEACE Motion to table discussion at this time.
