VI. BUSINESS BEFORE THE BOARD
A. Discussion and possible action on a policy concerning retiree life insurance
coverage.
B. Discussion and possible action on a Funding Policy in funding the benefits to
be paid by the Town of Old Saybrook Fire Company No. 1 Retirement Plan.
C. Discussion and possible action on a Funding Policy in funding the benefits to
be paid by the Town of Old Saybrook Retirement Plan.
D. Discuss and act on recommendation of Public Works Director Larry Bonin for
release of an encroachment bond – Coulter Street.
E. Discuss and act on property located at 13 Clubhouse Lane and year round
classification.
F. Discussion and possible action on authorizing the First Selectman to negotiate
and enter into a Financial Assistance Agreement for the Mariner’s Way site
assessment.
G. Discussion and possible action on a recommendation that the Board of Finance
appropriate and recommend to Town Meeting $155,000 for the Mariner’s Way
site assessment.
H. Discussion on a Port Security Grant.
I. Possible action on a recommendation that the Board of Finance appropriate and
recommend to Town Meeting a $361,570.00 Port Security Grant, to be matched
by a Town share in an amount of $90,393.00, for the purchase of a police boat
(Total appropriation is $361,570.00).

1. Economic Development Commission. Vacancy appointment.
Elevation of alternate member Carol Conklin. This is for the
unexpired portion of a five year term due to expire 6/2015.
2. Economic Development Commission. Vacancy appointment alternate
member. This is for the unexpired portion of a two year term due to
expire 12/2015
3. Ethics Commission. Vacancy appointment. This is for the unexpired
portion of a four year term due to expire 09/2017.
4. Historic District Commission. Vacancy appointment regular member.
This is for the unexpired portion of a five year term due to expire 12/2015.
5. Inland Wetlands Commission. Vacancy appointment regular member.
This is for the unexpired portion of a two year term due to expire 11/2015.
6. Pension and Employee Benefits Board. Vacancy appointment. This is
for the unexpired portion of a five year term due to expire 01/2016.
