Notice is hereby given that a Special Town Meeting of the electors and citizens
qualified to vote in Town Meetings of the Town of Old Saybrook will be held at the
Pasbeshauke Pavilion, 155 College Street, Old Saybrook, Connecticut, on Wednesday,
May 15, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. for the following purposes:
To act upon the recommendation of the Board of Finance to appropriate
the sum of $475,000.00 for the purpose of building the Town’s 18-Hole Mini Golf Course
on the Town’s Old Saybrook property at Saybrook Point. (The existing course was
essentially destroyed in Hurricane Sandy last fall). The Board of Finance recommends
that the sum of $225,000 be taken from and paid out of the Town’s Capital and
Non Re-Occurring Account, and that the sum of $250,000.00 be taken from and paid
out of the Town’s Undesignated Fund balance.
