SPECIAL JOINT MEETING

Chairman Esty called to order the meeting of the Planning Commission. There was not a quorum of the Architectural Review Board.
II. ROLL CALL
Present: J. Esty; R. Missel, C. Sugland, K. Soudan, M. Urban, D. Shearer
Absent: C. Flanagan, D. Ranaudo
III. PRESENTATION
A. “Mariner’s Way” Study Report
David Shearer spoke on behalf of the Board of Selectmen’s Route 1 East Committee by presenting its recently completed Study of the area of town where Route 1 runs between the town center and Ferry Point. The Planning Commission informally endorsed the concepts of the Study by stating that the findings and recommendations as presented in the Report are appropriate for consideration as a part of the Town’s Plan of Conservation & Development. The Commission will send a letter to the Board of Selectmen commending the work of the Committee. The Commission will schedule a subsequent workshop in the New Year regarding implementation of the recommendations of the Committee’s Study Report.
IV. ADJOURNMENT
The Chairman adjourned the meeting at 8:15 p.m.
