MEETING MINUTES
REGULAR MEETING
Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at 7:00 p.m.
5 Whisper Cove Road
Southwest of Whisper Cove Road / 200’ south of Ragged Rock Road
(Map 53 / Lots 40-3, 40-4 & 40-5)
The Chairman called the meeting to order at 7 p.m.
In attendance were: Esty, Ranaudo, Shearer, Sugland, Soudan and Urban. The Chairman seated Sugland and Urban for Missel and Flanagan.
III. SITE WALK
A. Modification of “Pashbeshauke” Subdivision – Lots 8, 9 & 10
Southwest of Whisper Cove Road / 200’ south of Ragged Rock Road
(Map 53 / Lots 40-3, 40-4 & 40-5)
Residence AA-2 District, Coastal Mgmt. Zone, Gateway Conserv. Zone, Flood Hazard Zone
James, Cassidy, P.E., site engineer, lead the Commission around the properties for its orientation to the ledge outcrop in its relation to the location and elevation of a series of points on the land, including: the public access walkway between Lots #7 & #8, proposed septic systems, boundary of conservation easement, trees, and the limits of earthen fill proposed for the feasible location of a residential structure.
The Commission was joined by an audience that included property owner, D. Papa, and neighbors.
IV. ADJOURNMENT
MOTION to continue the matter and adjourn the meeting at 7:25 p.m. to Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at 7 p.m., 2nd floor conference room, Town Hall, 302 Main Street, Old Saybrook; MADE by Shearer; SECONDED by Ranaudo; VOTE: 5-0-0.
