The Commission postponed approval of the minutes for the 5/7/08 and 6/4/08 meetings until the members seated at those meetings are present.

MOTION to pay Invoice # 14860 in the amount of $197.75 to Nathan L. Jacobson & Associates; MADE by McIntyre, SECONDED by Missel; no discussion; APPROVED by McIntyre, Missel, Ranaudo, and Milliken (4-0-0).

A. “Residential Uses” Amendments to the Zoning Regulations
Sections 7.4.7, 7.4.9, 9, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27 and 52

ACTION: Review per Plan of Conservation & Development; report for 8/18/08 ZC p.h.
MOTION to recommend approval based on the finding on no inconsistencies with the Plan of Conservation& Development; MADE by McIntyre, SECONDED by Missel; no discussion; APPROVED by McIntyre, Missel, Ranaudo, and Milliken (4-0-0).
VI. WORKSHOP
A. Draft Road Regulations & Amendments to Subdivision Regulations
ACTION: Review draft; schedule for public hearing; act.
The Commission’s consulting civil engineer, Jeff Jacobson, gave the background of the need for an update to the Town’s road regulations and the process so far in preparing the draft document. Mr. Jacobson outlined for the Commission the format of the regulations. The Chairman asked everyone to read the first six sections of the regulations in detail with questions prepared for discussion with staff at the 9/3/08 regular meeting.
B. The Plan of Conservation & Development
ACTION: Review municipal improvements, programs, standards yet to be implemented.
The Town Planner reviewed the list of initiatives in progress or outstanding as recommended in the Plan of Conservation & Development or its supplements for the Commission to discuss its role in sheparding or championing successful implementation. Ms. Nelson suggested that members consider which most interests them for further discussion at an upcoming meeting.
