CALL OF SPECIAL TOWN MEETING
Notice is hereby given that a Special Town Meeting of the electors and citizens qualified to vote in Town Meetings of the Town of Old Saybrook will be held at the Old Saybrook Town Hall, 302 Main Street, Old Saybrook, Connecticut, on Monday, August 13, 2018, at 7:00 p.m. for the following purposes:
- To act upon the recommendation of the Board of Finance and the Board of Selectmen to appropriate $45,000 from the Town’s Capital Non-Recurring account to supplement funds remaining from a Small Town Economic Assistance Grant to build three pickle ball courts in the Main Street Connection Park. This is a minor modification of Phase 1B.
- To act upon the recommendation of the Board of Selectmen and, as authorized under the provisions of Section 13a-48 of the General Statutes of Connecticut, to accept as a municipal highway the following:
- Bethel Heights: Bethel Heights is a highway extending in a general westerly direction from its intersection with Ingham Hill Road, a distance of approximately 1,078 feet.
- Wisteria Lane: Wisteria Lane is a highway extending in a north-northwesterly direction from its intersection with Bethel Heights, a distance of approximately 580 feet.
