The Town of Old Saybrook has developed a Preliminary Plan for the construction and reconstruction of sidewalks along portions of Boston Post Road (Route 1) and Stage Road. The preliminary design for the sidewalk improvements along Boston Post Road are from Elm Street to Stage Road/River Street.
To keep people informed and involved, a Public Informational Meeting will be conducted on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. in the first floor conference room in the Old Saybrook Town Hall, 302 Main Street. A copy of the Preliminary Plan is available for review in the Office of the First Selectman and in the Land Use Department.
The design of the sidewalk improvements has been funded by a Transportation Oriented Development (TOD) Grant administer by the Connecticut Department of Transportation.
