The Town of Old Saybrook on behalf of the Public Works Department is seeking bids for a
price per ton, labor and material for a two (2) inch overlay on a portion of Elm Street. The
Contractor shall provide a leveling shim coat and a finish coat of asphalt. The Contractor
should provide a price per gallon for tack coat.
The Town will have the road milled and cleaned before overlay begins, and provide Traffic
Police.
There is approximately 26,400 square yards of road, and 1000 plus or minus tons of asphalt.
The project completion date is May 23, 2014.

Sealed bids marked “Elm Street Paving Bid” will be accepted until 1:00 P.M., Monday,
April 14, 2014 at the Old Saybrook Town Hall, First Selectman’s Office, 302 Main Street,
Old Saybrook Connecticut.
