  • Staff Report
S. Prisloe shared information about the DEP 2011 Municipal Inland Wetlands Commissioners Training Program, Segment 2 that he and Kathleen Noyes attended on June 3, 2011. Possible legislative changes were discussed as well as upcoming changes to the Inland Wetlands and Watercourses Regulations.

S. Prisloe updated Commissioners on the violation at 23 Quarry Street. A letter from Attorney David Royston was received, and it explained that the owner claims to have never received page 2 of the permit and thus was not aware of her responsibility to pay for the continued monitoring required by the IWWC. Rich Snarski will continue to do the monitoring, and the developer/realtor has agreed to pay for this continued monitoring.

  • Representative & Subcommittee Reports
C. Wehrly, reporting for the WPCA, said that the first contract has been awarded for the septic systems, and they expect to break ground in the Saybrook Acres neighborhood shortly after July 4, 2011.
