Special Meeting, January 12, 2012
1. Call to Order
Chairman Ray Collins called the regularly scheduled meeting of the Old Saybrook
Harbor Management Commission to order at 7:00 p.m.

3. Discuss/Approve 2012 – 2013 Budget
Chairman Ray Collins met with Treasurer Robert Fish, First Selectman Carl Fortuna and Chairman of the Board of Finance David Lamay to discuss the proposed changes to the General Fund Budget for 2012-2013. He also talked with Scott Mitchell about the specific number of hours it takes to set the moorings. Scott reports it takes about 3 days and Ray Collins estimated the cost at $ 200.00 per day.
Discussion:
The proposal is to remove the $ 6000 lighter services, $ 600 for Scott’s services and
$ 300 from the Dock Master Boat Rental line items. That would leave a budget of
$ 24,038. These services will now be paid out of the Harbor Management Fund. Line items can be added to track payments in the Harbor Fund.
Motion – Les Bowman moved to approve the Budget for 2012-2013 in the amount of
$ 24,038, George Wall seconded
4-0-0 motion approved unanimously

Motion – Dick Goduti moved to adjourn at 4:17 p.m.
