Workshop Minutes, September 20, 2010
1. Call to Order
Chairman Ray Collins called the scheduled workshop to order at 7:00 p.m.

3. Workshop - Dock Standards
As a beginning the group identified the audience that the proposed changes will be shared with. They include, but are not limited to: DEP, town Boards and Commission, U.S. Army Corp, and Town Meeting.
The purpose of the amendment was defined. The town is obliged to be compliant with DEP regulations. The intent is to bring the Old Saybrook Harbor Management Plan up to date and to be consistent with other communities.
The objective of the amendment is to gain as much local control of dock development as possible
The group reviewed the Old Lyme Dock Standards. For the next workshop scheduled for Monday, September 27, members of the Commission are asked to locate their copy of the Harbor Plan and bring it with them to the meeting.

The workshop was adjourned at 8:50 p.m.
