3. Citizens with Business for the Commission
Jeb Barrington came to ask to whether he would be able to get a spot in the flats for a 3 foot draft cat boat. It was reiterated to Mr. Barrington,
as it was explained when he requested a permit, that the post survey had not been completed and the moorings in the deep water dredged area have
not been set. It is only after those4 items have been taken care of that Jim Mitchell will know if there is a deep enough space in the flats.
This has been a year in which everything is taken just a little longer, but the dredge we are sure will be worth it.
4. Minutes of April 13, 2009 meeting
Motion - Dick Goduti moved to approve the Minutes of the April 13, 2009 meeting as submitted, George Wall seconded
4-0-0 motion approved unanimously.
5. North Cove Dredge Update

the moorings in.
6. Ferry Road
STEAP - the engineers continue to work with DEP
The new sign was given to Larry Bonin and has not yet been put up.
The sign saying "permit required" is now missing.
7. Harbor Master, Deputy harbor Master, Dock Master Report
Jim Mitchell has been down working on the moorings and they are getting ready to go in. 3 of Sal's former clients have had their tackle misplaced or sold by
Sal or the new owner.
8. Correspondence
The Clerk, Ruth Hockert, reported that Ed Lane called regarding health issues for both he and his wife, and that their boat may not make the 50% rule.
He will submit his notice in writing.
David Franson called the Chairman to see if his check had been returned. It has not been as per the last Commission's meeting, the new mooring holder's check
had not yet been received.
9. New Business
10. Old Business
Dick Goduti spoke regarding peoples sense of entitlement. If a person gets a space for 24 ft mooring and then goes and buys a 34 ft boat they may have to wait
until there is a space for the larger boat. Dick suggested that the number of large boats and small boats discussion should be part of the North cove subcommittee.
George Wall will take the applications back to Island Cove for additional material. The question was asked whether Earl Endrich inspected the Island Cove moorings
and will he sign the permits. Ruth Hockert will call Earl.
Proposed plan changes and dock standards
Ruth Hockert will try and call contact the Old Lyme Harbor Commission because Marci from DEP only did Old Lyme, not all the other towns that had
submitted proposed standards,
North Cove subcommittee update - George needs to update subcommittee
Dick Goduti after a review of this month's accounting asks that the two mooring refunds be transferred from the 100 account to the 720accout.
Ruth Hockert will contact the marinas to try and set up meetings now that their busy season is slowing down.
