SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES, July 1, 2008
1. Call to order
Chairman Ray Collins called the Special Meeting of the Old Saybrook Harbor Management Commission to order at 7:00 p.m.

3. Approve Final Invoices for 2007-2008

Jim Mitchell invoice for work at Saybrook Manor
Motion - Dick Goduti moved to table vote on the DRS invoice until the regular meeting, to acquire some time to research payment of taxes on municipal services, George Wall seconded
4-0-0 motion approved unanimously
There was discussion regarding Jim Mitchell's invoice. Dick Goduti said that there are still tasks being performed by Mr. Mitchell which gall outside his job description. He believes a rate should be determined for these tasks.
Motion - Dick Goduti moved to table Jim Mitchell's invoice to the regular meetings. Ross Byrne seconded;
2-2-0 motion failed
Motion - Ross Byrne moved to pay the submitted invoice at $ 30.00 per hour - no second
Motion - Dick Goduti moved to make an interim payment of $ 25.00 per hour for this invoice and to set as an agenda item for the regular meeting a permanent rate; George Wall seconded
3-1-0 motion approved, Ross Byrne opposed.
Motion - Dick Goduti moved to handle the remainder of the invoices individually, George Wall seconded;
4-0-0 motion approved unanimously
Motion - Ross Byrne moved to approve payment of the Olsen Sanitation invoice. Dick Goduti seconded;
4-0-0 motion approved unanimously
Motion - Dick Goduti moved to pay the CT Water Company invoice, George Wall seconded;
4-0-0 motion approved unanimously.
Motion - Ross Byrne moved to pay Michael Cronin's invoice. Ray Collins seconded;
3-1-0 motion approved, Dick Goduti opposed
Motion - Dick Goduti moved to pay Jim Mitchell's invoice, George Wall seconded
4-0-0 motion approved
4. Motion to adjourn
Motion - Dick Goduti moved to adjourn at 7:25 p.m.
