III OLD BUSINESS
Ms. DePaola reviewed the sign material options provided by Mr. Creighton for the Historic District signs. Mr. Creighton will be asked to provide pricing on the two different sign materials chosen by members.
Ms. Nelson provided a sample letter and notification for property owners in the Historic District. A draft form letter and notice will be reviewed by the commission’s attorney and available for member’s approval at the next meeting.
- Notation on Assessor’s Property Cards
Staff will prepare a list of property owners in the Historic District and instruct the Town Assessor to add a notation to the Assessor’s Field Card that the home in the Historic District.
Ms. DePaola is currently working on the brochure and will submit it for member review upon its completion.
- New Resident Reference Packet
Once the brochure is, complete members will put together a packet for delivery to each property owner in the district. Going forward all new residents to the district will receive a packet that will contain important information regarding the district.
Mr. Meotti has researched the history of the guiderail and feels planting of hardy, ornamental plants along the guiderail may be the most cost effective option to shield the rail. Mr. Meotti will provide follow up at the next meeting on this matter.

Ms. Nelson advised members that the Historic District Commission web page is available as a vehicle to post important historic district information.
