Mr. LaMay called the Public Hearing to Order at 7:00 P.M.
Mr. LaMay led in the pledge.
Mr. LaMay noted that all members present.
IV. PUBLIC HEARING: BOE AND TOWN GOV’T. BUDGETS
Ms. Perruccio discussed the Board of Education Budget with PPT presentation
Mr. Fortuna, Ms. Palladino discussed the Town Gov’t Budget with PPT presentation.
VI. PUBLIC COMMENT
Comment about town government budget comparing to town of Simsbury which is twice the size of Old Saybrook with about the same size budget. Also, it was asked if any reductions had been made by BOF to date ( there have not ) and one person asked the BOE's percentage increase prior to any further reduction by BOF ( 2.7% ).
